Never afraid to aim high, David Ellison has already accomplished an astonishing array of achievements before the age of 30. He is an accomplished pilot with a commercial multi-engine instru- ment and helicopter rating. In 2003, at 20 years old, he was the youngest member of “The Stars of Tomorrow,” the EAA’s Aerobatic AirVenture Show in Oshkosh, WI. Three years later, while still attending University, David combined his two great loves, cinema and aviation, and produced and starred in the film,” Flyboys.” By 2010, he had formed Skydance Productions to create and produce filmmaker friendly movies. Skydance has been enormously successful, producing the Coen Brothers’ remake of “True Grit,” nominated for 10 Academy Awards in 2010, and “Mission Impossible-Group Protocol” in 2011. Among his many other films, David recently produced “Jack Reacher” with Tom Cruise and will soon release “World War Z” starring Brad Pitt.
